This is a kit to give your child (Kindergarten to High School) an opportunity to author their very own book. They write and illustrate the book on the pages supplied with no limit on words. If you want more text, you just need to shrink the font size. You can then drop off the pages (if in Madison, WI area) or mail them in the provided envelope. In about 2 weeks, you'll receive a fully bound hard cover book back (a certificate for one free hardcover binding is included in the kit). Grimm Book Bindery, Inc. has been hardcover binding since 1854!! Yes, that's not a typo - 1854 - over 150 years of binding experience. We've had these kits available for years at our shop in Madison, WI but have only recently added them to Amazon to offer to a wider audience. If desired, when sending in your child's manuscript, you can request additional copies be made for Grandparents or friends. This product is not only fun for your kids, but educational too! Children are thrilled when they see their own story transformed into a REAL BOOK! Being an author stimulates imagination and creates a great sense of accomplishment with increased self esteem.
